JONNY LIPFORD FEATURED GUEST MUSICIAN
Please join us this Sunday at 10 a.m. and enjoy the mellow flute music of Jonny Lipford. Jonny is a critically acclaimed and award-winning instrumentalist who has taken the Native American flute "outside the box" and successfully branded himself as being the most ambitious flutist in the music industry. Alex Henderson of Billboard writes, "Lipford plays his Native American wooden flutes with plenty of charm and charisma; on top of that, his writing is consistently memorable." Rev. brenda will give the lesson titled "WHY am I prayin'?"
Labyrinth Tour Saturday, July 14
On July 14, the Indian Creek Nature Center will host a walk of area labyrinths. The introductory lecture starts at 10 a.m. at the Nature Center. If you are in the area and want to join the fun, you can register through the Indian Creek Nature Center'scalendar page. You can either call the number listed on the site (319-362-0664) or click through and register on-line. The Indian Creek fee will be $5 for members and $8 for nonmembers. Janith Griffith will be at the UCR labyrinth from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to assist visitors.

FUNDRAISING MEETING, JULY 22
On Sunday, July 22, Prosperity Chair and Treasurer Jim Healy will hold a meeting for those interested in developing one or more fundraisers for UCR. The meeting will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. in the Strong Room. The objective will be to identify prosperity-expanding opportunities that have all the right PIECES (Passion, Ideas, Energy, Commitment, Experience, and Skills) to be successful at UCR.
