SAMANTHA SIDWELL FEATURED MUSICIAN

 Please join us this Sunday at 10 a.m. when Samantha "Sam" Sidwell entertains us with her cello. Samantha studied music, International Studies and Spanish at the University of Iowa. Her honors thesis was "Environmental Conflicts and Social Understanding: An Exploration of Socio-Cultural Interaction between Mapuche and Non-Mapuche Societies of Chile." In her spare time, Samantha is also a rock-climbing instructor! Rev. brenda will be giving the Sunday lesson.

RELAY FOR LIFE, JUNE 1

CR PRIDEFEST, JUNE 2

UCR will have a booth at the annual CR Pridefest at Green Square Park in downtown Cedar Rapids on Saturday, June 2, from noon to 6 p.m. If you would like to volunteer to work at the booth, contact Cory Matejka at 319-560-6710 or Susan Liddell at 319-389-3132.

PSYCHIC FAIR, JUNE 8

There will be a mini psychic fair at UCR on Friday, June 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. Pay $25 for three 10 minute sessions with vendors representing astrology, chair massage, reflexology, reiki, intuitive readings and tarot readings. FREEDOM FESTIVAL PARADE, JUNE 23

On Saturday, June 23, UCR volunteers will be walking in the Freedom Festival Parade. We will also have a booth at Freedom Festival, so watch for upcoming announcements.
