REGINA ESCHER FEATURED MUSICIAN
Please join us this Sunday at 10 a.m. when Regina Escher will be the featured vocalist. Regina grew up outside Kalona, Iowa, and began singing with her family's band, Prairie Fire, when she was about 8. She studied with Dr. Louise Frakes, whose tough love made Regina the vocalist she is today. Regina says, "I have a love for blues and gospel that has stayed with me, and I love nothing more than to share that with others." Rev. brenda will answer questions that have been dropped in the "I've Always Wondered" bucket.
SUSAN'S SUNDAY SALON
Join us this Sunday in Sacred Grounds and Books at 9 a.m. for our monthly discussion group. All are welcome! Pastries included! Our topic this Sunday will be "Spring cleaning: Does it have to be awful?" Where's the joy in getting rid of "stuff"? How do we mindfully discern what no longer serves us and how do we truly "let it go forever"?

ROBERT BACA RETURNS TO UCR, APRIL 18-19
Psychic medium Robert Baca will present his "Messages and More" forum in the sanctuary on Thursday, April 19, from 7-9 p.m. Robert is guided by Spirit and communicates with loved ones who have crossed over. Robert will deliver inspiring and validating messages for those who are meant to receive them. As time allows, he will answer questions from the audience. Seating is on a first come, first served basis with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $20 plus five cans of food (which go to a local food pantry) or $25 at the door. SPIRITUAL BOOK SALE, APRIL 22
Sacred Grounds and Books will be having a spiritual book sale in the CommUnity Room on Sunday, April 22, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pay $5 for a bag and load as many books as you want into the bag at no additional charge! Refreshments will be served. By the way, if you have any unwanted spiritual books you would like to circulate, bring them to the bookstore this Sunday and place them behind the sofa. FUN CLUB TO SEE COMEDY, APRIL 29
Fun Club, an activity-based group for adult UCR members and friends, is planning to see board member Jim Greene perform in "Self-Help for Dummies" at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, at Starlighter's Theatre, 136 E. Main St, Anamosa. Purchase your own ticket at 319-462-4793 from 5-9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9-noon on Saturday. Tickets are $13 for adults and $12 for students/senior citizens.
