LOUIS COLLINS, IRISH JAM TO PLAY SUNDAY

Please join us this Sunday at 10 a.m. when pianist Louis Collins plays the congregational music and Irish Jam provides the special music. Irish Jam consists of Joe and Deborah Byrd (guitar and vocals), Carlis Faurot (fiddle and vocals), Laura Phillips (flute and vocals) and Michael Crist (percussion). Rev. brenda continues her Lenten season series.
SUSAN'S SUNDAY SALON, MARCH 18
Join us this Sunday in Sacred Grounds and Books at 9 a.m. for our monthly discussion group. All are welcome! Pastries included! Our topic this Sunday will be a reflection of Charles Fillmore's belief that Lent was not meant to be a time of suffering and denial but of "consecration and joyous release from old thoughts and limitations." What thoughts are you willing to intentionally and joyfully release this Lenten season? Is it more than just giving up chocolate? Let's find out!
T-SHIRT DISTRIBUTION, MARCH 18
If you haven't picked up your UCR t-shirt yet, swing by the Community Room after service this Sunday. Sally Miller and Mark Hanna will be there to distribute shirts that have been paid for and take orders for more.
UNITY BOWLING, MARCH 24
Yes, it's true. Unity Bowling starts Saturday, March 24, at 9:09 p.m. (Yes, that's the start time!) Meet up with Joshua Haun at May City Bowl, 1648 Trent Street SW, Cedar Rapids and be prepared for a lot of fun and laughs. For more information, call Josh at 402-309-9850.
