| Don't Be Late
A Poem by Yogi Bhajan from Yogi Bhajan's, "The Game of Love". |
Rich and poor of all ranks, Let us give our thanks.
In God we all must trust, For that is a total must.
God is within and God is all. Let us all give God a call.
In the ambrosial hours meditate, Never miss it at any rate.
Meditate and chant the Naam, Be healthy, happy, balanced and calm.
Smile, enjoy and do your best. Relax, rejoice and have a rest.
Life is a gift for Singh and Kaur. Meditate on Haree Har!
Don't be late!

Dasvandh Diaries

I am delighted at all the
fantastic events that have taken place in my life since following the
40-day prosperity Program. it is a wonderful program, but I must admit
that it took me several tries before I reached the 40th day. It is not
only a prosperity program, but a program in faith and discipline. I
would get halfway through the affirmations, and then I would be faced
with a challenge and quit. My faith in the Universal flow was very
weak. Through determination and perseverance I have had tremendous
results and I...

| Meditation to Bring Prosperity Into Your Life
|
Part One Position: Sit in Easy Pose (or in a chair)
with a straight spine. Raise the right hand to the level of right ear,
with the fingers pointing straight up and the elbow out about 10 inches
from the ribs (like you are taking an oath). The left hand covers the
navel point, with the fingers straight and the palm laid flat over the
navel.
Eyes: Close your eyes and just think of yourself and the breath of life.
Time:8 Minutes (no longer)
Part Two
Position: Still sitting in Easy Pose, bring both hands to
the heart center. The thumb tips are touching each other, as are the
fingertips, and the hands form a triangle in this position. The base of
the palms are apart. The point of the triangle faces up.
Eyes: The eyes remain closed.
Time: 4 1/2 minutes.
To end: Inhale powerfully. Hold the breath in and use your
imagery and perceive yourself as pure and divine. Exhale. Repeat two
more times.
Part Three
Position:
Still sitting in Easy Pose with eyes closed, extend the arms
straight out to each side. The arms are very straight, with no bend, at
shoulder level, with the right palm facing up and the left palm facing
down.
Breath:
Inhale and feel that heaven and earth are joining in you, that
right and left are in balance. Suspend the breath for 20 seconds, then
exhale with cannon-fire breath through the mouth. Repeat. Repeat a
third time, inhale deeply and hold tightly. Exhale and relax.
Mantra:
Meditate on your purity and divinity while whistling to the music of Ardas Bhaee*
(side two of the tape) * Ardas Bhaee can be ordered from
www.spiritvoyage.com or www.a-healing.com
Comments:
"This subject is very serious and extremely simple: what
you should do to bring prosperity to your life. Prosperity doesn't
mean that you have wealth, health, and happiness. The best way to
explain prosperity is that when a rosebud flowers and opens up, it has
its fragrance. When a man or a woman is prosperous, there is that
fragrance of security, grace, depth, character, and truthfulness, which
that person can share. Like a candle emits light, a prosperous human
emits prosperity.
The greatest tragedy of this time
is that we are all trying to find God outside of ourselves. The
reality is that God is inside. God is within us and therefore we have
to act like God's existence. One of the greatest human weaknesses is
that we want to impress others. Once we start impressing ourselves
it's nirvana. We are redeemed, we are free, and we get whatever we
want.
That day you will find you are
you and the very joy of being you is a most precious joy. It will take
away all your suffering and your pain." - Yogi Bhajan

MESSAGE FROM YOGI BHAJAN |
 God shall
Take Care of Things Excerpts from Yogi Bhajan's lecture on 10/5/02
"Without talking, God knows everything." Because the fact is, He's in you. He's not beyond you. You forget it he is in you. You were born by
the will of God. Through karma you
chose parents and longitude and latitude.
And through Dharma you learn altitude and attitude. When you do not rise to the level where you
are supposed to rise, and you do not have power to have manners and values to
make your attitude real, the game is lost.
We think we love God because we are spiritual people, but we
don't. We don't believe that God, who
rotates the earth, can take care of our routine. Even though we have synagogues, churches,
temples, ashrams, teachers, swamis, and gurus we are unable to learn that God
shall take care of things. The way we practice spirituality is a bunch of
rituals. There's no spirit in our
spirituality, no flow of spirit. When
spirit flowing in us forgiveness, kindness, compassion, caring, forgiveness to
self, being kind and merciful to self, shall be ordinary routine.
As we grow up we have one thing, which makes us old, weak
and sometimes miserable and that is the memory of the past. I have seen it in many people. They don't remember all the great things, all
the good things that happened in their lives, they only remember all the bad
things. But if you remember all the bad
things of the past, good things on the future cannot touch you. Is that the bargain you want? It's a very
costly behavior, because when you do not remember good things, you are not
grateful, and grateful is a very beautiful word. "Great" and "Full." I know in my heart everybody wants to be
grateful, but they don't understand grateful that way. They want to be GREAT, and EMPTY. That won't work. And, just look at the expression, "I am
great-empty." How does that make you
feel?
You are supposed to have answers. You are supposed to answer people. You are supposed to lift their life. Your
character should be like a forklift. Go
into the ground, lift them, and put them on the road, so they can do their
journey. We waste our whole lives in
questioning, "Is it true? Is it not
true?" If your heart takes it, it is
true. If your head takes it, it is not
true. It's as simple as that. What your
heart cannot take in is not true. You
don't belong to that study, or that teaching, that group or that
lifestyle. But if your heart says it is
true, then take up the banner, help, teach, expand, bless, and go. Move on.
Both ways, you have to move on.

| What is Dasvandh? |
| Donate Today! |
Every spiritual path has an avenue of participation, an opportunity to give back through tithing. While tithing is traditionally one-tenth of one's income, many people give whatever amount they can. The principle of tithing is that if you give to Infinity, Infinity, in turn, will give back to you. It is a spiritual practice through which you build trust in the ability of the Universe to respond to the energy that you give.
Dasvandh supports the mission of sharing Yogi Bhajan's teachings on Prosperity and Conscious living. Your donations help us continue this work and support your prosperous abundance. Please participate as a Dasvandh donor today. Thank you! | |
