Siri Singh Sahib Lecture Video In this week's lecture entitled, "Atma: The God of Light," the Siri Singh Sahib discusses the Soul. He explains how the Siri Guru Granth Sahib describes the Soul as "ji" or the life force that represents the Soul and exists according to the will of God. When we release our attachment to our physical body and shift our attention to the Infinity of the Soul, we become Parmatma - an "Infinite Soul."

Astrological Sign - Virgo In the crystal Self I saw the sophisticated plight of the coolness of the moon And the lightness of teh breeze Showering kisses in the morning, And the beauty of a tiny crystal of dew - the purity of water And the nurturing essence of fire below in the sun... Eye was amazed being a Virgo! by Siri Singh Sahib Bhai Sahib Harbhajan Singh Khasa Yogi Ji

Greetings from Ravi Kaur, Executive Director

We hear you!
We are so grateful to all of you who participated in our recent surveys. It's been incredibly enlightening and it's exciting for us to get to know more clearly what your needs are. So far we have already removed all duplicate emails, we've changed the "tune in" feature of our website to being optional, we have reduced the frequency of our emails, and have condensed the content of our enewsletter. We are continuing to receive feedback and working to incorporate the suggestions that you've been sending. It's so imperative to our staff that we know we are serving the global community - thank you for your communications - keep them coming. This month it's fun to see all the various communities who are featured in the newsletter. Please continue to send us your photos, local news, and inspiring stories so that we can truly serve the international community.
Next week is the meeting of our International Khalsa Council. It's the advisory body to Sikh Dharma International who meet twice a year and we look forward to welcoming everyone for another productive session. The council consists of not only long term members of our community but the next generation of leaders as well. The agenda is "Sharing the Teachings: Kundalini Yoga, Shabad Guru, Women, Healing and Family". So we are looking forward to the exciting work that will come from that.

SS Ravi Kaur Khalsa
