| My Song
A Poem by Yogi Bhajan from Yogi Bhajan's, "The Game of Love". |
You left me in the cold, but your face is not that bold, and the story that you told is not believed.
Be bright as my soul, shine to all, Is my goal. Don't wither, but spread hope and harmony.
If we don't set the goal, what will be told tomorrow? Let us build a happy way. for tomorrow we must face it every day. The homage we must pay for life and love is ours today.
Let us be holy, happy and bright. Beautiful days and cozy nights. Joyful living and loving care. You and me and us we share.
Our smiles and songs will live forever. We'll leave these memories for our children's ecstasy. That is our legacy, our guiding destiny.
And to those who gave with love, they are the ones who have found God. So let us play the game of love, bow our heads and walk the path.
May you live in my breath of life, blossoming and free from strife.
Come to me and I'll come to you. Love me as I love you.

Dasvandh Diaries
|
During the last few months I
was not traveling on the road and selling, as I normally do. I was a
little depressed, so I decided to help out in the Dasvandh, Fund
Development Office to get my spirits up. I so believe in the power of
Dasvandh and building this Dharma. I was helping call the sangat all
over the country and I was telling everyone
about our wonderful new Prosperity Altar. I was talking away saying how
important it is to give so that the energy can flow through us all,
when I realized I needed to give a Dasvandh offering also.
The new Prosperity Altar has just been completed. I had $20 in my
wallet, so I put it in a Dasvandh envelope and put it on the Prosperity
Altar. Not more than a half an hour later, the phone rang and...Read More.Click here to read more donor testimonials or to share your own!

Guru Mantra of Guru Ram Das
Guru Guru Wahe Guru, Guru Ram Das Guru Wise, wise is the one who serves infinity.
| Mantra: Guroo Guroo Wha-hay Guroo Guroo Ram Das Guroo
Posture: Sit in easy pose with your hands in Gyan
Mudra. Close your eyes and meditate at the brow point. Repeat the
mantra in a monotone or sing along with a musical version.
Time: You can practice this meditation for any amount of time. Start with 3 minutes and work up to 62 minutes or even 2½ hours.
Comments: This is a mantra of humility, relaxation,
self-healing and emotional relief. It calls on the spirit of humility
and grace of the realm of Guru Ram Das, with its spiritual guiding
light and protective grace. It reconnects the experience of infinity to
the finite, and therefore rescues you in the midst of trial and danger.
The first part, Guroo Guroo Wha-hay Guroo is a nirgun mantra
(nirgun means without any qualities) - one which vibrates only to
infinity, having no actual finite components. It projects the mind to
the source of knowledge and ecstasy. The second part, Guroo Ram Das
Guroo is a sirgun mantra (sirgun means with form). It therefore
projects the mind to infinity and then gives a finite guiding
relationship on a practical level.
Yogi Bhajan considered this mantra to be his personal mantra and it was given to Yogi Bhajan by Guru Ram Das in his astral self.

EXCERPTS
FROM YOGI BHAJAN'S BIRTHDAY LECTURE ON MEDITATION 8/26/88
|

I
am going to teach you about meditation. When
you meditate, the entire garbage of the subconscious starts floating. Meditation is not pleasant. Meditation cannot be pleasant, otherwise it
is not a meditation, and you are doing something else. Meditation is just cleaning the house. Now, if you have a Hoover going on, and you
say there was no noise, well, how can these two things be possible? There is no dust, how that is possible? Things are not upside down, how that is
possible? Whenever you are going to
clean your house, you are going to see the whole thing go upside down, and when
you are going to release the subconscious, you are going to find not just the dirt
of this life, but of lives and lives and lives and lives and lives. Meditation is a MUST process. It is an act of selfishness which a person
must do. It is an unpleasant labor, a labor
of sweat. Now what happens in
meditation? When you meditate with
gurumantra, it must have a reverence, it must have a respect. These are the two things which must be
there. When you sit and meditate, your
mind goes berserk. You stabilize, mind
goes berserk again... it is a wrestling match.
Give your life a chance, two and a half hours dasvandh. One tenth of your time belongs to the Guru. I am not asking you anything. I am not judging you, I am not telling you
anything. But the easiest thing that I
have learned over the past 50 years, and I am telling you with Guru as my guarantee,
there is nothing good in living except those personal hours of meditation.
This
is my birthday. You have given me worldly
gifts. You have given me spiritual love. Your prayer has made me live
through. It's not my life. I'm not willing to even deny it. I don't live.
The day that you want me to go, I'll be quick to go home. That's not the problem. But look at your power. Look at your strength. Look what you can do. You can turn a determined death into a living
extension. Aren't you saints? Isn't the word of Guru Gobind Singh coming
true? "Khalsa mere jaan kee jaan,
Khalsa mere praan kee praan." Those
of you, who practice the path of the Guru with love and devotion, have reached
his blessing. Greetings to you. Those who are still half way, let us make a
painful decision today. Let us do it for
40 days and when this account is over, then we will have a ticket in our hand
on our journey home. And that journey is
gurumantra. And that is what you
create. THE PURPOSE OF MEDITATION IS
PROSPERITY HERE AND HEREAFTER!

| What is Dasvandh? |
| Donate Today! |
Every spiritual path has an avenue of participation, an opportunity to give back through tithing. While tithing is traditionally one-tenth of one's income, many people give whatever amount they can. The principle of tithing is that if you give to Infinity, Infinity, in turn, will give back to you. It is a spiritual practice through which you build trust in the ability of the Universe to respond to the energy that you give.
Dasvandh supports the mission of sharing Yogi Bhajan's teachings on Prosperity and Conscious living. Your donations help us continue this work and support your prosperous abundance. Please participate as a Dasvandh donor today. Thank you! | |
