Yogi Bhajan Quote of the Month

SSS

"Those who do not have complexes are those who live by the virtue of their soul, all the time. It is a mental process, with no diversion. If we believe, "I am a spirit, I am among spirits, I am from the Great Spirit, I have to merge in that Spirit," all problems shall be solved."

Blessed is my Soul
A Poem by Yogi Bhajan
from Yogi Bhajan's, "The Game of Love".
 Guru Ganesha Singh

Blessed is my soul which is free. Luckily it has no belly,

Neither it is dry nor wet, Neither it is happy nor it sweats.

It has nothing to sell or buy. It has nothing to even try.

I am lucky I have a soul.
It goes everywhere and pays no toll.

Sometimes it is low, sometimes it is high,
But it always moves on the turnpike.

It is educated, but it reads no signs. What a wonderful soul is mine!

I am lucky I do have a soul, Between the white and the black hole

My soul knows the absolute, and it is my soul to which I salute.

I am happy each day
I have a beautiful soul to play.

It is a beautiful little soul of mine. It is radiant and has a wonderful shine.

It is my friend and playmate. My soul is my best soul-mate.

I am lucky I do have a soul, It is the nucleus of the world as a whole.

Blessed is my soul, which is free.

Dasvandh Diaries
I have been constant and consistent with my Dasvandh, and I have no doubt that 'the vacuum' really works. I have done two or three of the Prosperity meditations included in these issues and have found many amazing results. I have never gone through financial struggles, and since 1993, I have experienced a good income increase every year, something rare in Mexico.

Meditation: Grace of God

Beautiful Prosperity MeditationPart 1
Posture:
Lie on your back, fully relaxing the face and body. Eyes are closed.

Mantra:
I AM GRACE OF GOD
(Important Note: Men repeat, "I am IN the Grace of God.")
Inhale deeply, hold the breath in, and silently repeat the mantra 10 times. Exhale all the air out, hold it out, and repeat the mantra 10 times.
Continue in this process of repeating the mantra 10 times on each inhale and 10 times on each exhale, for a total of 5 inhalations and 5 exhalations.
This totals 100 silent repetitions.
Part 2:
Posture:
Relax your breath and with the eyes still closed, slowly come sitting up into Easy Pose.
Bring the right hand into Gian Mudra. The left hand is held up by the left shoulder, palm flat and facing forward, as if you are taking an oath. Keep the breath relaxed and normal. Tense one finger of the left hand at a time, keeping the other fingers straight but relaxed. Meditate on the governing energy of each finger, then repeat the same mantra as in part 1 aloud 5 times. Continue this sequence for each of the remaining fingers, finishing with the thumb.  Inhale, hold and relax.

Comments from Yogi Bhajan:
THE GRACE OF GOD
Don't be proud that you have money; there are millions and millions of millionaires. Don't be proud that you have a beautiful woman or man; each woman or man is more beautiful than the next. Don't be proud that you have children; there are people who have dozens of them. And don't be proud of what you have; in the spur of the moment what you have can be washed away.
You can be only proud of one thing - if you have found your soul within yourself. You can be only proud that you have found the selflessness within yourself, and you become grace of God. Then there is nothing which can bother you, there is nothing which can take away from you anything, because you have been created by God. God shall then create all the circumstances to create happiness for you and when he creates the happiness it is everlasting.

God shall Take Care of Things
Yogi Bhajan Lecture excerpts from 10/5/02
SSS
Without talking, God knows everything because the fact is, He's in you.  He's not beyond you.  You forget that he is in you. You were born by the will of God.   Through karma you chose parents and longitude and latitude.  And through Dharma you learn altitude and attitude.  When you do not rise to the level where you are supposed to rise, and you do not have power to have manners and values to make your attitude real, the game is lost.

We think we love God because we are spiritual people, but we don't.  We don't believe that God, who rotates the earth, can take care of our routine.  Even though we have synagogues, churches, temples, ashrams, teachers, swamis, and gurus we are unable to learn that God shall take care of things. The way we practice spirituality is a bunch of rituals.  There's no spirit in our spirituality, no flow of spirit.  When spirit flows in us; forgiveness, kindness, compassion, caring, forgiveness to self, being kind and merciful to self, shall be the ordinary routine.

As we grow up we have one thing, which makes us old, weak and sometimes miserable and that is the memory of the past.  I have seen it in many people.  They don't remember all the great things, all the good things that happened in their lives, they only remember all the bad things.  But if you remember all the bad things of the past, good things in the future cannot touch you.  Is that the bargain you want? It's a very costly behavior, because when you do not remember good things, you are not grateful, and grateful is a very beautiful word.  "Great" and "Full."  I know in my heart everybody wants to be grateful, but they don't understand grateful that way.  They want to be GREAT, and EMPTY.  That won't work.  And, just look at the expression, "I am great-empty."  How does that make you feel?

You are supposed to have answers.  You are supposed to answer people.  You are supposed to lift their life. Your character should be like a forklift.  Go into the ground, lift them, and put them on the road, so they can do their journey.  We waste our whole lives in questioning, "Is it true?  Is it not true?"  If your heart takes it, it is true.  If your head takes it, it is not true.  It's as simple as that. What your heart cannot take in is not true.  You don't belong to that study, or that teaching, that group or that lifestyle.  But if your heart says it is true, then take up the banner, help, teach, expand, bless, and go.  Move on.  Both ways, you have to move on.

What is Dasvandh?
Donate Today!
Every spiritual path has an avenue of participation, an opportunity to give back through tithing. While tithing is traditionally one-tenth of one's income, many people give whatever amount they can. The principle of tithing is that if you give to Infinity, Infinity, in turn, will give back to you. It is a spiritual practice through which you build trust in the ability of the Universe to respond to the energy that you give.

Dasvandh supports the mission of sharing Yogi Bhajan's teachings on Prosperity and Conscious living. Your donations help us continue this work and support your prosperous abundance. Please participate as a Dasvandh donor today. Thank you!
