Greetings,
In this St. Patrick's Day Communique', I focus on LUCK!
I love the definition of luck I once heard mentioned on the Oprah Winfrey Show:
"Luck is when opportunity and preparedness meet."
That's a great quote because it suggests that we have to actually take some action of our own, both in getting ourselves ready and showing up with positive expectation.
Take a look in the "What Do You Say" featured phrases section below for ways to create positive expectation as you work with others. Also, check out my favorite seven quotes on luck.
I look forward to having the good fortune of partnering with you in the coming months!

P.S. - I'll be traveling to a speaking engagement this Wednesday, St. Patrick's day, however will be sending you lucky thoughts from afar! |

What Do You Say?
If you've participated in my How to Turn Negativity into Possibility workshop, you've had a chance to practice turning "half-empty" phrases into "half-full" ones. These phrases are the labels that we put on people--even if not spoken out loud--which ultimately determine the type of LUCK we'll have working with them. To create a positive tone, convert:
- Half-empty "pest" to half-full "persistent" or "inquisitive"
- Half-empty "hyperactive" to half-full "energetic" or "enthusiastic"
- Half-empty "nitpicky" to half-full "detail oriented" or "quality conscious"
