AmeriHealth
is currently mailing letters to group customers regarding our decision to
extend health insurance coverage for some young adult children up to age 26
prior to health care reform legislation becoming effective. As promised, we are

Capital BlueCross: New Pharmacy Benefit Manager CVS Caremark
Attached are
samples of the email sent to those groups for which an email address was
available on file and the group letter mailed to all other groups, announcing
the selection of CVS Caremark as the new PBM beginning January 1, 2011. Please
note this is a copy of the group letter.

Coventry (HealthAmerica): Uninterrupted
Coverage for Young Adults to Age 26 Effective Immediately
Under the new health reform law, also know as
the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), health insurers and
group health plans will experience major changes in how they operate. One
change is a requirement to allow dependents up to age 26 to remain on their
parents' health plans. This requirement takes effect for plan years that start
on or after September 23, 2010, and applies to both new plans and so-called
"grandfathered" plans.

Horizon BCBSNJ: Changes to Standardized Medicare Supplemental
Plans
Effective
June 1, 2010, the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act of 2008
(MIPPA), requires changes to the current standardized Medicare Supplemental
(Medigap) plans. The changes will constitute new plans referred to as Horizon Contemporary Medigap Plans.

IRS Releases Guidance on Determining the Small
Business Health Care Tax Credit Under PPACA
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has issued
new guidance to make it easier for small businesses to determine whether they
are eligible for the new health care tax credit under the Patient Protection
and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and how large a credit they will receive.
