AmeriHealth NJ: Update on Continuation of Dependent Care
Coverage
Recently,
we announced that we would allow our current group customers and individual
members to continue coverage for adult children up to age 26, effective June 1,
2010. AmeriHealth made this decision to allow these young adults to remain on
their parents' plans and help families avoid a potential gap in coverage until
the new federal health care reform law took effect.

Capital BlueCross: Early Implementation of Dependent to Age 26
Capital BlueCross is taking a proactive
step to help young adults who could be adversely impacted by a provision of the
new federal health care reform law. To avoid a potential gap in coverage,
dependents enrolled on their parent's Capital BlueCross coverage as of May 31,
2010 may stay on this coverage until they turn 26. Notice of this eligibility
expansion is being sent to group customers. Where appropriate, a group can
respond with their acceptance/non-acceptance of this implementation.

have on individual and group medical benefits. What hasn't received as much

law.
