Aetna:
Billing Alert
On 04/08/2009, the credit card charges for April premiums
for members that are direct billed were run. 6,200 Medicare members were
double charged their April premium. The Aetna
billing team is in the process of reversing the duplicate charges.

AIG: Forming Holding Company AIU Holdings, Inc.
AIG announced its intention to form
a General Insurance holding company, including its Commercial Insurance Group,
Foreign General unit, and other property and casualty operations, to be called
AIU Holdings, Inc. This is an exciting development for the employees, business
partners and customers of AIU Holdings, Inc. AIU Holdings, Inc. is made up of
well-capitalized businesses that hold substantial liquidity and have not
required capital funded through AIG's agreement with the U.S. government to
support its financial strength.

Caremark: Changes to Caremark's
Formulary & PDL
In an ongoing effort to maximize your healthcare
investment while offering your plan participants clinically appropriate
prescription therapy, effective April 1, 2009, CVS Caremark has announced
changes to the Caremark Formulary and Performance Drug List (PDL).

Express
Scripts: Acquires PBM Subsidiary of
WellPoint, Inc.
Express Scripts is pleased to announce an agreement with
WellPoint to acquire its PBM subsidiary, WellPoint NextRx. Included in the acquisition is PrecisionRx
Specialty Solutions, WellPoint's full-service pharmacy. WellPoint NextRx provides PBM and specialty
services to 25 million Americans, and the transaction includes a 10-year
contract for Express Scripts to provide services for WellPoint.

IBC: Key Findings from Consumerism Study
Independence Blue Cross (IBC) recently conducted the
following study to gauge attitudes and behaviors among local health care
consumers. The survey was conducted
online with more than 1,000 insured consumers in the Philadelphia market.
