Second Annual Putt 4 Paws Golf Tournament
Carol at Tournament FORE!!!!! ---- Four paws that is!!

Thank you for receiving our monthly newsletters and spreading the word.  We are excited for the Second Annual Putt 4 Paws Golf Tournament on
October 13, 2008.

There is still time for your support! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and it is much needed for the vet and boarding bills the Rescue has accumulated over the past year. We count on the players' donations, the various sponsors and generosity of the volunteers who particpate in the event.

Go to PayPal on our site and donate to Paws 4 You Rescue.  This is the time of year where we ask our community to support us financially.

Every dollar counts!  And that is the truth!
We sincerely thank all our supporters:

Leon Medical Centers
Sea Breeze Nursery

Garcia's Seafood

AROD Family Foundation

Mariani Orhtodontics

Bacardi

Dewers
Presidente Imported Beer
Brickell Motors
Peterson Harley Davidson

Taco Rico
Splat Attack
Sutera Med Spa

Hot Cookies!

And a special thank you to all the players, our tee and green sponsors, you as a donor and all our volunteers.

We have a few foursomes left to fill! So if you play golf and love animals, you are the person we are seeking!

If you would like more information on how you can participate, please email golf@paws4you.org

Bark Brunch

Thank you to the Historical Museum of Southern Florida for inviting us to your Bark Brunch on September 6th at the Raliegh Hotel to discuss the importance of having a foster program at our Rescue.

As you can see Cruiser (the Chihuahua/Terrier mix) and Lydia (the beagle) had a fantastic time on South Beach!

Both still available for adoption:
Go to our Adoption Page for more information on them and others.

Rock your World Rock Your World - Adopt a Dog!

Maybe you've been considering it for a while.  But now is the perfect time to act.

October is Adopt-A-Dog Month.  Shelters and breed-rescue groups across the country are full of dogs - big dogs, little dogs, old dogs and puppy dogs.  All waiting to get a second chance at happiness and find loving families.

Sadly, millions of shelter dogs are euthanized every year simply because there are not enough homes for them. But the future of these animals changes every time people visit their local shelters, meet the wonderful animals and adopt their new best friends.

Find out how having a dog rocks. . . They are happy to see you at the end of the day no matter what kind of day you've had.  They can compel you to get out and go for a walk.  They can help lower your blood pressure.  And, they have just what you need to add a little groove to your life.

Adopt a dog this October from your local rescue group.  You'll see how much your new canine companion rocks, you'll support your local animal welfare organization and you'll save a life while enriching your own.
Check out all our available dogs on our website!
