Thank you to the Historical Museum of Southern Florida for inviting us to your Bark Brunch on September 6th at the Raliegh Hotel to discuss the importance of having a foster program at our Rescue.
As you can see Cruiser (the Chihuahua/Terrier mix) and Lydia (the beagle) had a fantastic time on South Beach!
Both still available for adoption: Go to our Adoption Page for more information on them and others.

Rock Your World - Adopt a Dog!
Maybe you've been considering it for a while. But now is the perfect time to act.
October is Adopt-A-Dog Month. Shelters and breed-rescue groups across
the country are full of dogs - big dogs, little dogs, old dogs and
puppy dogs. All waiting to get a second chance at happiness and find
loving families.
Sadly,
millions of shelter dogs are euthanized every year simply because there
are not enough homes for them. But the future of these animals changes
every time people visit their local shelters, meet the wonderful
animals and adopt their new best friends.
Find
out how having a dog rocks. . . They are happy to see you at the end of
the day no matter what kind of day you've had. They can compel you to
get out and go for a walk. They can help lower your blood pressure.
And, they have just what you need to add a little groove to your life.
Adopt
a dog this October from your local rescue group. You'll see how much
your new canine companion rocks, you'll support your local animal
welfare organization and you'll save a life while enriching your own. |
