-Oude Tart! Hi Everybody! Get ready for another great weekend in the Tasting Room. Between the release of Oude Tart and bottles of 100% Brett Autumn Maple, this weekend should be a busy one. This Friday night Oude Tart, our 7.5% ABV Great American Beer Festival Gold Medal winning Flemish-Style Red Ale, is going to be available on draft and in bottles. Oude Tart is aged in red wine barrels for 18 months and is pleasantly sour with hints of leather, dark fruit and toasty oak. That delicious beer will only be in the Tasting Room for a short time, so come in while we still have some on draft and it runs out until next year! If sour beers are your thing, we will also be pouring the popular Berazzled, a 5.7% ABV raspberry tart ale, and Hottenroth, our 3.1% ABV tart Berliner Weisse, this weekend. We are also going to have bottles of our 100% Brettanomyces Autumn Maple for sale Friday night. That version of our 10% ABV Belgian-style brown ale is brewed exclusively with 'Brett' and will get better and better with age. Autumn Maple, which is brewed with over 17 lbs of yams per barrel and is spiced with a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, vanilla, molasses and maple syrup, is the perfect treat for a late Friday night in the Tasting Room.
