Dear Reserve Society,

By now, you’ve probably read about the changes afoot at The Bruery,
including our strong and continued focus on barrel-aged beer and our
intention to get at least some of those beers into general
distribution. Most likely, you are wondering to yourselves what this
will mean for the Reserve Society, so we urge you to read on to hear
what we are planning.

First off, everything will remain the same for the remainder of 2011.
We’ll be releasing plenty more limited release beers this year and
your allocations towards those beers will remain in place.

Beginning in 2012, things will change. Reserve Society memberships
will continue on a year to year basis, but it will be free! The
Reserve Society will become a community of our biggest supporters and
a way for you to get your hands on even more bottles of our limited
beers before the general public can. While we do plan on opening up
online allocation sales to the general public, the Reserve Society
members will be given an opportunity to purchase the beers ahead of
time and they will also be allowed a larger allotment of beers than
the general public.

In November of this year we will give all of our current Reserve
Society members the opportunity to enroll for next year. There will no
longer be discounts applied as a benefit of membership, and there also
won’t be a guarantee that supplies will last, but again, membership is
free and it gives the you the first chance to get our limited product.
Reserve Society members will also be able to purchase tickets to
events throughout the year such as our Clusterfork parties,
barrel-aged beer tastings and Reserve Society Initiation Celebration.

At the end of the year, we will sort through the sales reports and
remove any members of the Society who haven’t purchase any beer
throughout the year, allowing an opportunity for new applicants to be
added to the Society through a “first come, first served” waiting
list.

We hope this new formation of the Reserve Society will serve
everyone’s best interests as it removes the up-front cost and still
gives our strongest supporters the opportunity to purchase our most
limited beers before they are released to the public, access to
events, and a sense of community.

We hope to see some of you at our anniversary party on the 29th, and
if not, surely we’ll toast a beer in the future.

Cheers,
The Folks at The Bruery
