Reserve Society Releases

Hi everyone!

It's time again for another Reserve Society allocation.  The first beer is the May 2011 Provisions Series ale and the other is our 2nd ever collaboration beer!   The following beers will be available for order between April 11th and April 22nd at society.thebruery.com

Bierbauch will be available for pickup at The Bruery Provisions beginning on the first Tuesday in May and Acer Quercus will be available on a date, TBD in May or June.

Provisions Series: Bierbauch, 3 bottle limit, $15 per bottle
Meaning Beer Belly in German, Bierbauch is the Provisions Series ale for the month of May 2011, so of course we had to make a Maibock! And we're The Bruery, so of course we had to make it imperial! And why stop there when you can age it in oak barrels for a few months? The last strong beer you'll need before the heatwave of summer is upon us, this verson of the traditional German lager is rich and oaky.

Collaboration Series: Acer Quercus, 3 bottle limit, $20 per bottle
If you aren't familiar with Lawson's Finest Liquids yet, you should be! Run entirely by Sean Lawson, it is a nano-brewery in rural Vermont. He's become well known in the beer world for unique beers brewed on his single barrel system, and particularly for his use of locally sourced maple syrup. We got together with Sean and developed a recipe for an oaked, smoked, mapled monster of a beer. We even smoked our own malt using the wood of the very maple trees that provided the syrup for this beer. This was a really fun beer to create and the result is a mildly sweet, smoky brown ale with balancing wood tannins.

Please note, all of our Provisions Series beers will also be available on a limited basis for walk-in sales at our store in Old Towne Orange. We set aside an allotment of these beers for our Reserve members to be sure you don't miss out on getting them. While these beers may already be on the shelves, and you are welcome to purchase extras, you can not pick up your Reserve Society order until the pick-up designated date.

Your 15% membership discount will be applied to all sales. The beers will be onsale through society.thebruery.com between 3/16 and 3/30. Salt of the Earth and Mischief Gone Wild will be available for pickup on or around April 1st and both Cuir and 100% Barrel Aged Cuir will be available in May, a followup email will come with an exact date.

When ordering these beers, the usual guidelines apply:
⁃ If your order is for more than one brand of beer, please make sure to order all bottles in one order.
⁃ Oders will be available at The Bruery Provisions during our standard operating hours (Thursday, Friday & Saturday 12-10pm and Sunday - Wednesday 12 – 8 pm).
⁃ Only those who have “Reserve Society” status on our eCommerce site will be able to order these releases. If you are a Reserve Society member and don't have an account on our eCommerce site, please sign up and eMail society@thebruery.com to give you access to the releases.
