Reserve Society Releases

Hi everyone!

We hope you've been enjoying 2011 so far, it sure has been a busy year for us already and we're ready to put three more beers on sale for you all. The following beers will be available for order between February 7th and February 21st. Our plan from this point forward is to have the Provisions Series beers available at the begining of each month for pick up. The other two beers for sale right now will be available in late March, a follow-up email will be sent when a date is confirmed.

Provisions Series: Imperial White Orchid, 2 bottle limit, $10 per bottle
Clearly a bit of a play on the fact that Orchard White is quite often called by the wrong name, this beer is a new version of a Belgian-style wit for us. We've uped the gravity, creating a wit that comes in at 9% abv and we've completely removed lavender from the equation, this time brewing with orange peel, coriander and nutmeg for a great earthy taste. We worked on this recipe after an afternoon of tasting some of our favorite wit beers in the world and we think we did a nice job paying homage to some of the best.

Marrón Acidifié, 2 bottle limit, $20 per bottle
Our very first collaboration beer. We got together with the brewing team from Cigar City Brewing in Tampa, Florida to create the recipe and eventually brew this Imperial Oud Bruin. Spending over a year in barrels, both bourbon and wine, has left this dark sour ale layered with notes of cranberries, tropical fruits, leather and aged balsamic vinegar, balanced by wood tannins and roasted malt.

ISO:FT, 1 bottle limit, $25 per bottle
You didn't think The Bruery and Cigar City could get together and not make a special version of their already special beer, did you? This extremely limited version of Marrón Acidifié was fermented with Florida and California fruits, pink guava and dates, added to the barrels. It will only be offered to our Reserve Society members as there simply isn't much to go around, which is unfortunate, because it's a beer that deserves a wider release. Consider it a tribute to those who like to search for and trade!

Please note, all of our Provisions Series beers will also be available on a limited basis for walk-in sales at our store in Old Towne Orange. We set aside an allotment of these beers for our Reserve members to be sure you don't miss out on getting them. While these beers may already be on the shelves, and you are welcome to purchase extras, you can not pick up your Reserve Society order until the pick-up designated date.

Your 15% membership discount will be applied to all sales. The beers will be onsale through society.thebruery.com between 2/7 and 2/21. Imperial White Orchid will be available for pickup on or around March 1st and both Marrón Acidifié and ISO:FT will be available in late March, a followup email will come with an exact date.

When ordering these beers, the usual guidelines apply:
⁃ If your order is for more than one brand of beer, please make sure to order all bottles in one order.
⁃ Oders will be available at The Bruery Provisions during our standard operating hours (Thursday, Friday & Saturday 12-10pm and Sunday - Wednesday 12 – 8 pm).
⁃ Only those who have “Reserve Society” status on our eCommerce site will be able to order these releases. If you are a Reserve Society member and don't have an account on our eCommerce site, please sign up and eMail society@thebruery.com to give you access to the releases.
