Angela Thomas is the best-selling author of numerous books including Beautiful Offering, Do You Think I'm Beautiful? and When Wallflowers Dance.  She is a gifted teacher and storyteller speaking to thousands each year.  Angela teaches and transparently shares life experiences that draw her and others into a deeper passion for knowing God.  Angela graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Dallas Theological Seminary. Angela is also a wife, a mother and an ordinary woman.
 
The Woodlands United Methodist Church is hosting Angela Thomas on February 26 - 27, 2010 for two incredible events.  On Friday, February 26 from 6pm - 9pm, we are sponsoring a "My Single Mom Night" and invite you to attend for FREE.  It's an evening that we hope will leave you feeling overwhelmingly blessed in your role as a single mom! 
 
On Saturday, February 27, from 8am - 2pm, Angela will be presenting her Do You Think I'm Beautiful? study for all women.  You will come to understand that the question is uniquely feminine, placed in women's hearts by the Creator to woo them to Himself.  Along the way, women will learn about the distractions that can keep them from the One who calls them beautiful, what it takes to return to His embrace, and what delights await them there. Angela's skillful, moving style is peppered with warm and funny stories from her own life that you will immediately identify with. And the practical Bible teaching Angela offers will help you bridge the gulf between the life a woman longs for and the life she actually has.  Tickets for Saturday are $20, plus $8 for a box lunch, if desired.

Renew Bible Studies is dedicated to examining the life changing truth of scripture for a vital relationship with Jesus Christ.  The 21-week curriculum is developed annually by women of TWUMC.  Women will enjoy fellowship with other friends through small group discussion, concluding with a talk presented by Renew's Teaching Director.  Prayer and mission opportunities are also an integral part of the program.  Additionally, children 4 and older whose mothers are in the study can participate in King's Kids, Renew's children's program.  They will learn age appropriate Bible lessons corresponding to their mom's studies, enjoy crafts and also learn to pray and worship.

Remix
This year's study, I AM Your Jesus, is offered Thursday mornings from 9:15 - 11:30, or Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 8:40, beginning September 17th through April 29th.  Evening Renew members can enjoy a meal together at 6:15 p.m. for a minimal fee with kid-friendly meals provided for their children.

Join us as we take an in-depth look at the I AM statements of Jesus, exploring both the Old and New Testaments.  Nursery is provided.
