Would you like to learn creative ways you might support the charities about which you care, including St. Mark's?  If so, please join us for a presentation by Robert Sweet, Director of Gift Planning at the Princeton HealthCare System Foundation, and former Director of Gift Planning at Vassar College, this morning at 11:15 in the Education Center.  Robert will speak on financially prudent ways of giving -- whether to the the Church or to other nonprofit organizations that you hold as a priority in your long term philanthropic plans. Robert will provide an explanation of the basic tools along with easy-to-understand examples.

 

New Canaan resident Robert Sweet was Director of Gift Planning at Vassar College and the Georgetown University Law Center.  He studied literature and economics at Oxford University as an English Speaking Union Scholar, Arabic in Syria as a Fulbright Scholar, and archaeology in Israel as a Dorot Scholar.  He was a Research Affiliate in the Middle East Program of The Carter Center and a visiting professor of Middle Eastern political economics at Oglethorpe University.


Refreshments are offered at 11 a.m. and the discussion series is 11:15-12:15 in the Education Center at St. Mark's Church.  The community is welcome Childcare is provided.
