Send Holiday Cards to Our Soldiers

Help brighten the holidays for members of the military on active duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, along with veterans who are inpatients at the VA Hospital on First Avenue and 23rd Street.

We suggest preparing 10 cards, which may be purchased or prepared on a computer. A personal note may be included; at a minimum, each card should be signed and Congregation Rodeph Sholom should be identified.

Please leave envelopes unsealed. As we don't know the specific recipient of each card, greetings should be generic, such "Season's Greetings" or "Happy Holidays." Please drop cards off in the lobby of 7 West 83rd Street by Wednesday, November 23.

Yom Kippur Appeal

At this season, when we are especially thankful for so much, take a moment to remember all that Rodeph Sholom does to enrich your life and your family. Celebrate all this with a gift to the 2011 Yom Kippur Appeal! You'll also be helping someone else facing economic distress this year to stay within our family.

Your participation in the Appeal is important, no matter the amount. Mail your gift to the Synagogue, make a secure online donation, or contact the Development Office at (646) 454-3051.

Many thanks to each and every donor; your gift helps sustain the abundance that we call Rodeph Sholom!
