Memorial Plaques

Have you noticed the six large Yahrzeit frames at the back of the synagogue's Main Sanctuary? The names on these frames reach back into the history of the congregation as loving testimonials to the vibrant individuals who remain cherished by family and friends. During Yizkor services (Yom Kippur, Shemeni Atzeret/Simchat Torah, Passover, and Shavuot) the light next to all the Memorial Plaques are lit.

If you haven't yet arranged for a plaque for your own loved one, now is the time to plan ahead so that the plaque will be installed in time for next year's Yiskor services, beginning with Yom Kippur.  The donation for each Memorial Plaque is $3,000. For more information or to place an order, please contact Deborah Siegel, Development Director, at 646-454-3050 or dsiegel@crsnyc.org. We also have options for Memorials at Union Field Cemetery.
