Roe Conn and Val Warner are our delightful MC's, The Chicago Blackhawks along with the Urso Family will be receiving the William J. Casey HOPE Award, incredible live and silent auction items will be available, there will be dancing to the sounds of Al Sofia, a savory dinner from Blue Plate catering, amazing patient artwork on auction, raffles and soooooo much more.

| FEATURED BEAR HUG | | |
OLIVER
Oliver appears to be an average little boy. He likes painting, coloring, playing blocks, trains and riding his bike... and chocolate. Like most boys his age he dislikes scary monsters, going to bed, and green vegetables! But Oliver is anything but average- he is a fighter and a truly brave little boy. He has battled cancer twice and he is only four! Though his journey is long and hard he's always been very cooperative he and rarely cries. The nurses and doctors are always saying that they wish he could teach the older kids how to be as brave as he is. During the transplant experience, he really surprised a lot of people with what he could handle and do. He's been described as "an old soul" more than once! Oliver's Bear Hug request was to have a BIG Birthday Party somewhere fun!
 Oliver had a party at Pump It Up with tons of inflatable slides and games! He loved crawling through the tunnels and going down the fast slides and the big bouncy house with the basketball hoops!! His party was such a great time for him and his friends and we couldn't be happier. After such a hard year during and after his transplant, it was great to see him bouncing around with energy like all of his friends. We truly wouldn't have been able to do this without Bear Necessities. It meant the world to him. This is something he will remember for a very long time.

A PURPLE AFFAIR FOR THE BEAR ROCKED
This year's Auxiliary Board's Signature event was a true achievement! Over 350 people gathered at the River East Art Center to have fun, taste delicious food, dance and mainly, support the mission of Bear Necessities.
