NSA Update to All Members

A Loss for the CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame

As many of you are already aware, NSA CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame member Keith Harrell lost his battle with cancer on October 18.  Keith's family is incredibly grateful to all who have reached out to them during this time.  They have asked that we share the following letter on their behalf.

On October 18, 2010, the good Lord took from us our beloved Keith. Our grief is indescribable. As a family we will feel such a loss, but our comfort, which comes from the Lord, has also been plentiful. Keith fought a courageous battle with cancer and he fought it with the same positive attitude and energy that he pursued in every aspect of his life. If you asked Keith how he felt each day, you knew his answer would be "Super Fantastic."

Services for Keith will be held at the Christian Faith Center in Federal Way, Washington at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, October 27, 2010.   In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations are made in his name to The American Cancer Society Mosaic of Hope and the Loma Linda Proton Radiation Center.

In order to get in front of these influential decision makers, MPI encourages you to submit your original proposal that supports MPI Thought Leadership Initiatives and personal and professional development. MPI Thought Leadership Initiatives are defined as Corporate Social Responsibility, The Future of Meetings, Business Value of Meetings and Strategic Meetings Management (for more information). The more interactive and collaborative your presentation design, the more likely it is to connect with WEC attendees. Submit your proposal through Oct. 29 at the WEC 2011 site.
