Dan Poynter 2Title: What Speakers Can Learn From Book Titles: Improving the Title of Your Speech
Presenter: Dan Poynter, CSP
Description: Seventy five percent of the pulling power of an ad is in the headline. The most important headline you will ever write is the title for your speech.
The title of your speech should attract attention, describe the contents and create interest in the program. Without fabulous packaging, your audience is never likely to discover the content.
Meeting planners. Speeches are judged by their packaging and the title is the first thing a meeting planner sees. There are so many one-sheets to look at--and so little time. All these very important decisions--whether or not to hire you--are made on just one thing: the packaging. A great wrapper will sell more of you!
Audiences see the titles of the speeches in the program and select the event they want to attend. A great title will attract larger audiences.
Discover the inside secrets to great (book and) speech packaging. Get the step-by-step plan.
