Seasons and the New Year!
2010

A new year has begun and Seasons would like to start off 2010 with a hardy thank you to all of our customers for making last year a year to remember! If you have visited the garden center recently you may have noticed some changes. We apologize for any inconvenience; we are very excited about these changes, and know it will help us better serve your gardening needs in the future.
Currently, our gift shop is getting a much deserved face lift. The whole staff has turned into professional painters for the winter, so stop by and check out our progress. Seasons is also very excited about our perennial/rose area that has been completely transformed. A shade structure was built to offer our customers (and our plants) relief from the hot sun, allowing for a more exciting shopping experience. We are also working on some other winter 'projects' that we hope will make you , our customer, feel even more inspired to garden!

With the start of a new decade Seasons wants to push the envelope further than we ever have before! We have an impressive lineup of seminars scheduled for the spring and early summer months with some local leaders in the horticultural industry. These seminars will be free to the public, and will be held on Saturdays starting at 11am and usually last no more than an hour or so. Our friends from Monrovia, Flowerwood, and Sunbelt nurseries will be on hand to talk about some exciting new plant introductions that have all the staff wishing it was spring already. Other topics being covered will be citrus trees, lawn maintenance, cooking/planting herbs, and a special seminar on the world of daylilies, and many more.

Speaking of daylilies, Valdosta, Georgia is also proud to host the annual National Hemerocallis Society convention from May 27th-29th. We encourage all of our customers to attend and see some daylilies that are beyond belief. More information on the Daylily Festival will come in future newsletters.

Finally, the staff at Seasons is very excited about the possibilities that 2010 has to offer and are ready to make this year the best for you, the gardener. Our new
website is up and running and we encourage all of our customers to check it out and pass it along to some friends. On our website,
www.seasonsvaldosta.com, you will find an archive of all our past newsletters; up to date information on seasonal activities that are happening at the garden center; as well as our contact information, email, and a direct email service for questions you may want to ask our knowledgeable staff. Just shoot us an email and we will respond quickly. Also don't forget to find us on Facebook and become an official fan of Seasons Garden Center! Stop by soon and take part in our 20% off sale on all plants, pottery, gift shop items, and fountains for the week of January 11th-16th.
Hope to see all of you soon. Stay warm and happy gardening!
