What do you do when you run out of juice?

5 tips to get going when your motivation is low:

1)  Walk around (the office, the block, or a nearby park) and look for something positive you've never seen before.

2)  Set an alarm and work on ONE thing (and only that one thing) for that period of time.

3)  Open a best-selling business book to a random page and read for 5 minutes.

4)  Make a list of 5 people you'd like to meet.
***Bonus: search www.anywho.com to find their mailing address! (
I recently wrote to Dr. Dweck, author of Mindset.
)

5)  Buy two postcards of your city, and send them to out-of-state friends (or someone you'd like to meet). New rates
: Post Card= $0.26, Letter = $0.41.

Just a little bit of action just may get your juices flowing. Try one and let us know how it works!

Speaking of running out of juice...

Have you ever had a piece of tech gear "die?"

Here are 3 simple ways to stay in power:

1. Power at Home
Set up a Charging Station at home. Get a power strip that will accommodate a cord for each of your portable devices: laptop, PDA (Palm, Treo, Blackberry), cell phone, MP3 player, digital camera, bluetooth headset, gaming device, camcorders, GPS, etc.

By consolidating the cords into one space, you'll never ask this question again:

"Where in on earth is the phone charger?"

2. Power to Go
Get an adapter for your car. Newer cars have an outlet ready to go (or use the cigarette lighter for older cars). You never know when this could be a lifesaver.

3. Power for the Savvy Traveler
If you travel frequently, consider buying a duplicate set and putting together a charging station "to go."

Individually wrap cords and label them, so you can retrieve them quickly. This will save you time, hassle and frustration from disassembling your home charging station.

*Remember to pack your vital charging cords in your carry-on luggage. Extended layovers are easier when your phone (and iPod!) has a full charge.
