The Arts SEEN Gallery, a collaboration between The Cultural Council of Luzerne County and Arts YOUniverse, will be open tonight for a preview - a whole new gallery for the Third Friday Art Walk. Artists have been bringing in an incredibly eclectic collection of art over the last week; passers by have been peering curiously through the windows (right next to Blue Wireless on the Square) and we're all ready to open the doors! There's also a new show opening reception at Marquis Upstairs Gallery, and the weather is supposed to be fine, so this is a great night to get back into the Downtown Wilkes-Barre Third Friday habit!
On Saturday at 2:45 (just before the big parade), Mayor Tom Leighton will officially open the gallery by cutting the obligatory ribbon, assuming we can find one. It's the place to be!
