New Thursday Evening Women's Study: Beginning March 3 from 7-8:30 PM in the Far West End. Led by Cathy Tankersley of Capital One, this study will focus John Bevere's The Bait of Satan: Living Free From the Deadly Trap of Offense.


New Men's Small Group Study: Beginning in March on Tuesdays at 7:15 AM, The Beatitudes and The Servant on the Mount with leader Steve Gentil of Grubbs & Ellis.


Co-ed Bible Study Openings: Wednesdays at Noon in the Southside, and Tuesday mornings in Ashland.

What are the messes?
Last month, the Needle's Eye Board of Directors gathered for a retreat to think through various questions affecting the ministry.  During the planning portion, one Board member said, "Jesus got into the messes of people's lives. What are the messes of Richmond's marketplace that God could work through us to impact for His good?" Stay tuned as we seek to answer that question.

End of Year Match


From July 1 to December 31, 2010, we had 34 new donors and 21 contributors

who increased their annual gifts to our general operating budget. Thanks to a group of anonymous donors, we were able to match a total of $11,775.50 of new or increased gifts!  Special thanks to those who participated in NEM's match and all who give to NEM.  Ministry couldn't happen without you!

Having grown up in a relatively wealthy lifestyle,  George Jamerson was confident he had everything anyone could ever want.  "I didn't need anything, even God, because I had it all," says Jamerson.

Forty years later, George's parents passed away.  After spending a good amount of his inheritance, George decided he could recover by investing in a real estate deal that was a "sure thing."  After four years of success, however, the deal went sour and left George and his family with nothing.  Read More
