Changes to the NEM Family
Needle's Eye Ministries wants to say thank you to Erin Thomas and Robin Milby, who have moved on to new adventures.

Erin Thomas served as NEM's Communications & Development Coordinator since May 2008.  She is pursuing a Master of Education at the University of Richmond.

Robin Milby was NEM's Front Desk Coordinator from 2008-2009.  She has accepted a management position with a local church.

We miss you, Erin and Robin!

Welcome Micah Gant!

As Communications & Development Coordinator, Micah Gant will be responsible for NEM's communications materials, newsletter and Web sites.  She will also work on development projects with Chris Withers.  Before coming to Needle's Eye, Micah did freelance graphic design work and grant writing, and prior to that coordinated events, communications and fundraising at CrossOver Ministry for three years.  She attends Eternity Church in Richmond's Northside.

Ten Secrets for the Man in the Mirror
Christianity 101

"Is there more to life than this?"  If you've been asking that question, then Christianity101 (C101) is a great place for you to find answers.  C101 explores some of the foundational principles of Christianity: Who is Jesus?, Why Did Jesus Die?, Why Should I Read the Bible?, How Do I Pray?, and 10 other topics.  We'll share a meal together, watch a video on the evening's topic, break for dessert, and then discuss the material together (C101 uses the ALPHA course materials).

When: Feb. 10 - Apr 28 (Wednesdays from 5:30 - 7:45 PM)

Where: Third Presbyterian Church (600 Forest Ave)

RSVP: Jennifer Parham (jparham@needleseye.org or 358.1283)

Ten Secrets for the Man in the Mirror Pastor Geronimo Aguilar, D.D.
Founder & Executive Director, The Richmond Outreach Center (The ROC)

The Speaker Series returns in February with Pastor Geronimo Aguilar as he presents 'From the Streets to the Sanctuary'.

Drugs, gang life, chaos - this is how Geronimo Aguilar coped after witnessing his mother's murder as a child.  With no father in his life, he looked to the cold and dangerous streets for refuge.
