Greetings!
'Tis the season...internship season that is. If you've ever used an intern, or think you may someday, we have some important information to share. Internships are win-win. You get help for your business and students get the experience they desire. However, it may not be free help anymore. In April of 2010, the U.S. Department of Labor issued some new guidelines that employers must meet in order to use unpaid interns. They've also identified six
criteria that must be met for an internship to be unpaid. Read all about it in our latest press release, "New Federal Guidelines Impact Internships."The Columbus Dispatch took our release a step further and published this article, "Feds to enforce rules on wages for internships."If you're currently in need of an intern, The Columbus Chamber of Commerce provides an outstanding internship program which connects graduates to local businesses. Find out more at ColumbusInternships.com. In the Dayton area, check out DaytonInternships.com.

-Kristen Harris, Portfolio Owner
In this clever article, Kristen compares job hunting to a road trip.
