Panzano is approaching full "summer mode".  The wine shelves are stocked with rosatos, lambruscos, and crisp whites.  And we are featuring some seasoned salts this week that are perfect for grilling.  And if you stop in this Friday, you can meet winemaker Raffaella Bologna of Braida!

Our Wine Maker Dinner Series continues this Friday June 8 at 7:30PM as we welcome Raffaella Bologna from Braida. Neil Rogers' five course menu will be paired with Braida's barberas, moscato, and brachetto.  The dinner will be preceded by a free tasting at Panzano with Raffaella from 5-7PM.  The cost of the dinner is $80/person plus tax and gratuity.  Reservations can be made by calling 508-481-8484.  We are not accepting any more online reservations for this event since we are so close to capacity.

Summertime Salts

This week Il Boschetto Spiced Sea Salts 10% off

Here at Panzano we are featuring our three delicious sea salt crystal blends from Il Boschetto and the Le Pere Pelletier, all of which are perfect for any warm-weather meal. The Il Boschetto blends are large salt crystals and herbs that add the strong flavor of the Tuscan sea and coastal hills they come from, the beautiful Castiglione della Pescaia, Tuscany.  Keep in mind, this Italian Sea Salt consists of large sea salt crystals which need to be ground or crushed before using directly on food. But if you're still working out your last few Barbeques before the grilling season truly ends, take a handful of the salt and throw it over the hot coals several times during cooking to bring even more depth to your delicious grilled food!  READ MORE>

Heart & Soul from Asti 

On Friday, Raffaella Bologna (of the Braida estate located in Rochetta Piedmont, Italy) will taste from this great estate in Asti. The founder of the family, Guiseppe Bologna, who started out working as a carter (vineyard hand who moves casks of wine) decided to cultivate a piece of land with vines of Barbera. His son, Giacomo, inherited this vineyard; he also inherited his father's nickname: Braida. Not only is Braida the nickname of father and son, it is also the namesake of revolutionary bottles of Barbera that adorn the estate of the Bologna family in Asti.  READ MORE>
