Long gone are the days of Asti Spumante; now it's "Lambrusco" an underrated and misunderstood sparkling red wine. Thanks to countless bad examples of the syrupy sweet concoction that were all too famous in the seventies, most people pass on Lambrusco; they can hardly be blamed. All it takes is one rough morning after having the cheap stuff, and it's a mistake you won't soon repeat.
