Memorial Day weekend is here and that means graduation and barbeque season is upon us. We have sandwich, meat, cheese and salad platters as well as cakes, desserts, and wines for Graduation parties. Panzano also has delicious, responsibly raised, pre-seasoned meats for the grill.
This week we are featuring Berkshire Blue cheese from western MA. Try a sample in the store. For wine, we are featuring "Summer Sippers" in this week's Friday FourPack and Fred is opening a veritable smorgasbord of wines for this weekend's tastings.
Our Wine Maker Dinner Series continues in June with Braida. We will be welcoming Raffaella Braida from the Asti region of Piedmont, Italy as she presents her Moscato d'Asti, several Barberas, and a Brachetto. Her wines will be paired with a five course menu from Chef Neil Rogers. The dinner is scheduled for Friday, June 8 at 7:30PM at Tomasso. The cost is $80/person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations can be made online or by calling 508-481-8484.
Schedule for Memorial Day Weekend: Tomasso will be open normal hours except closed for lunch on Monday, May 28. Panzano will be open normal hours Saturday and Sunday, closed all day Monday.
We hope to see you this week at Tomasso and Panzano.

WEEKEND WINE TASTING
BY FRED MULLINS, GENERAL MANAGER
COMPLIMENTARY TASTING FRIDAY 5-7pm · SATURDAY 4-7pm
The Spice of Life
We believe that varietals are the spice of life, so why not explore the vast bounty of grapes that the world offers us? This leads us to this week's featured wines; all are lesser known varietals, but that does not mean they aren't without charm (they just need some PR). Why these grapes? We find them not only interesting, but deliciously different. The grapes: Bellone & Nero Buono from Cincinnato, Dolcetto from San Fereolo, and Lagrein from Griesbauerhof (pictured here). READ MORE>
