Come in this week to see what all the fuss about Sicilian wines is about.  Fred is featuring some excellent specimens this week and will have them open for tasting this weekend.

Our next wine dinner on Friday April 27th will feature Westport Rivers and winemaker Bill Russell as well as acting as our Welcome Dinner for new chef Neil Rogers.  The menu will feature five courses prepared by Neil and the Tomasso chefs, each paired with a wine from Westport Rivers.  It's $65/person.  Click here to book your spot!

This week is your last chance to provide feedback and suggestions to help improve the Panzano customer experience.  Please take a quick second to complete the very brief questionnaire.

Our 2nd annual "Half of Southborough Eats Free" event at Tomasso happens on Monday, Patriot's Day, April 16.  All Southborough residents and town employees can participate at either lunch or dinner.  Make your reservations now!

We hope to see you this week at Tomasso and Panzano.

Mouthwatering Cured Meats!

Creminelli Cured Meats Featured this week

The Creminelli family has been producing artisan meat products as far back as the 1600s, according to family legend. In more recent history, Grandpa Ugo Creminelli not only produced meat products, but he also served as the personal chef for General Badoglio, the Italian general who took over the government briefly after Mussolini was deposed.  In the early 1970s, Cristiano's father, Umberto Creminelli, took over the small family business, Salumificio di Vigliano, near the town of Biella at the foot of the Italian Alps in northern Italy.

WEEKEND WINE TASTING
BY FRED MULLINS, GENERAL MANAGER

COMPLIMENTARY TASTING

FRIDAY 5-7pm · SATURDAY 4-7pm

The Standard of Sicily

Sicily is hot: literally and figuratively. Sicilian wines are ever more present on wine lists and shelves of wine shops worldwide. The wines coming out of Sicily are more diverse and expressive than ever before. Amongst the plethora of top notch talents and estates producing wines there are a few that make my "must haves from Sicily" list, and they are: Case Ibidini, COS, and Occhipinti. So for this week's tasting, we will pour a wine from each of these producers to allow you to get better acquainted with their talents. COS
Azienda Agricola COS was founded in 1980 by Giambattista Cilia, Giusto Occhipinti, and Cirino Strano: three friends who wanted to go over what had once been the work of their ancestors. The acronym of their surnames (Cilia-Occhipinti-Strano) gives rise to the name of the company (still a partnership). The company follows the principles of biodynamic viticulture to the vineyard to help find and keep the balance in harmony with nature so the wine can express the character of its soils.
