What to Sell Now (and What to Look to Buy!) |
|
Think Back to School
As a general rule, follow the trends your seeing in the catalogs. As soon the catalogs start promoting seasonal changes, resale will follow.
Secondly, think all sizes -- remember, 2 and 3 year olds go "back to pre-school" too.!
Cool Climates Fall items historically sell very well right now (but not heavy winter quite yet).
Warm Climates
Back to school appropriate clothing is best. Many schools don't allow "strappy" tops, but do allow shorts and the summer look goes all year long. If you live in the north, don't forget that a short-sleeved shirt or dress may be a perfect find for someone who lives further south.
Halloween? While the catalogs are already coming out, our experience is people are still more focused on back to school through August. But after Labor Day, get those Halloween listings ready!
