John Morley is a thinking man's man who has spent his time at AMTELCO thinking about the future and how AMTELCO can help its customers adapt to and profit from the changes that the future always brings with it. He thinks so much that John's name is listed on many of the U.S. Patents AMTELCO has been awarded.
John came to AMTELCO early in the company's history from the Madison city school district, where he taught mathematics and computer science. He arrived just in time to be the principal designer and programmer for AMTELCO's landmark EVE (Electronic Video Exchange) system, the first truly paperless messaging system in the marketplace. There are still 36 EVE systems still in operation today, nearly 30 years after its introduction in 1983.
John went on to be the tip of the spear in the development of just about every subsequent AMTELCO product, from PC-MX to Infinity to eCreator to the Intelligent Series. Most recently, John was the brains behind the development of the Soft Agent intelligent console application and the Intelligent Series Web Scripting platform.
John Morley's long and illustrious career with AMTELCO ended with his retirement on September 30. Now John will be spending his time with his wife, Bonnie, thinking about his children and his grandchildren and how he can best help them face the future. But at AMTELCO we will be thinking about how much we miss John.
