We are so thankful for each and every one of our members, supporters and followers. The Gerson Institute simply couldn't exist without your support!
We're going to have a very busy and exciting December at the Gerson Institute. We will be welcoming a new member to our Education Team! Eleni, our new Information Specialist, will help us with the ever-increasing number of phone calls and emails we receive every day from people and patients looking for information on the Gerson Therapy.

Artichokes a la Gerson!
|
Artichokes With Lemon and Garlic
Whole artichokes are a lunchtime favorite at the Gerson Institute! We like to dip the leaves in flax oil, Hippocrates Soup, or any other dip or dressing we deem deliciously suitable!
 Ingredients: - 2 artichokes
- 1 lemon
- 4 cloves garlic
Procedure:
Wash and clean artichoke with peroxide water and rinse in distilled water. Cut about an inch off the top of the artichoke. Use utility or kitchen scissors to cut the prickly tips off the leaves. Then clean the outer part of the stem and trim the bottom. In a large sauce pan with a lid, place the artichokes upward or on one side and add enough water to the bottom of the pan to cover the bottom of the artichoke. Add the juice from one lemon and cut another in half and place the lemons in the pot with about four cloves of garlic. Put the lid on the pot and bring it to a boil then turn it on low to simmer. It should take about an hour to one and a half hours. Enjoy! Serves: 2
 Artichoke Dressing/Dip This delicious artichoke concoction can be used as a salad dressing or veggie dip--you can even dip your artichoke leaves in it! Ingredients:- 2 Artichokes
- ½ Red Onion
- 3 Cloves Garlic
- 2 Tablespoons Chopped Dill
- ¼ Cup Flax Oil
- 1 Small/Medium Baked Potato
- 2 Lemons, Juiced
- 3 Tablespoons Chopped Parsley
- 3 Green Onion Pieces
- ¼ Cup Distilled Water
Procedure:
Clean all edible artichoke from the leaves by scrapping it and clean out the heart by pulling the hairs off the center. Reserve in a bowl. Clean and rough chop one half red onion, 3 cloves of garlic and 3 green onions. Add to the bowl. Roughly chop Parsley and Dill, add all ingredients to Cuisinart and pure with flax oil, lemon juice and water until smooth. Enjoy! |

Good Morning, I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you for your work and to let you know how needed you and your organization are. My mom passed away over a year and half ago from cancer, I myself do not have cancer, however, I have been greatly encouraged and emboldened by Dr. Gerson and everything I've seen and read about concerning the Gerson Therapy. Please continue your work and continue to provide knowledge and truth. We are coming around it is just taking time. The truth does set us free. Thank you!
