The Gerson Institute has a new home!
When we sent out our last
email, our office was drowning in a sea of brown boxes (as you can see in the "before" picture on the right!). A month later, we are all set up, organized, and working more efficiently than ever in our beautiful new building. After 10 years at our former location in downtown San Diego, we have moved to a new, larger office on Adams Avenue in the Normal Heights neighborhood in San Diego.
As you can see in the photo above, our new building is open and spacious, with brightly colored walls and plenty of natural light and air flow.
We've also taken this opportunity to upgrade our phone and internet service to fiber optics, so our internet is super speedy, and we're saving money to boot!
While moving is certainly a challenge, we had great support from our staff and from some amazing volunteers, who dedicated their time to help us with the move. Thank you all for your help and hard work!

| Cancer Control Society's 39th Annual Cancer Convention | |
 Labor Day is coming up soon. While many of you may be eagerly anticipating a three-day weekend, we're even more excited about a very special event taking place that weekend: the Cancer Control Society's 39th Annual Alternative Therapies Cancer Convention. The Cancer Convention will be held September 3-5 at the Sheraton Universal in Universal City, California.
The purpose of the Cancer Convention is to educate people about the prevention and treatment of cancer through nutrition and non-toxic therapies. The Gerson Institute will have a booth for all three days of the convention, and we look forward to seeing you all there. Come by our booth and say hello!
Charlotte Gerson has lectured at the convention for over 35 years, and will appear again this year. Don't miss this chance to hear her give impassioned and enlightening speech on the power of the Gerson Therapy!

Gerson Guide to Juicers
Check out the newest addition to our website! We've written a complete guide to juicers for the Gerson Therapy, to help prospective Gerson patients decide which juicer is best for them. In this guide, we cover juicers for cancer treatment, juicers for treating non-malignant conditions, and juicers that aren't compatible with the Gerson Therapy.
Gerson patients juice all day, every day. An average Gerson cancer patient drinks up to 13 glasses of fresh, organic, raw juices daily-the equivalent of 15 pounds of produce in liquid form! Since one could not possibly digest that much produce in one day, it is necessary to remove all the bulk and fiber from the fruits and vegetables so that it is quickly and easily digested, while retaining the maximum amount of nutrients and enzymes. My wife Debbie was treated in your clinic in 1979. Her treating physicians had given her a 40% chance to live 5 years if she underwent their courses of chemo and radiation. She did have some surgery but declined the radiation. We heard about the Gerson Therapy from a friend and decided to go that way.
It is now 2011 and Debbie has still had no recurrence and is healthy and looks 10 years younger than she is. I just wanted to say thank you for the additional 30+ years that your treatment has given me with her.
