July is going to be an especially exciting month at the Gerson Institute. After ten years on 2nd Avenue in downtown San Diego, the Gerson Institute is ready for a change! We will be moving into our new office at 3844 Adams Ave in San Diego the week of July 4th through July 15th.
We are doing our best to keep our programs running even during the move, and we hope that everything will go smoothly and there won't be any interruption of services.
However, things don't always go according to plan and there may be some technical difficulties as we switch over our phone and computer systems. So please bear with us in the coming weeks. We promise to return all calls and emails we receive - but it may take a little bit longer than usual.

While moving can be challenging, we have grown so much within the last year that we simply no longer fit in our current location. We were starting to think about building loft work stations. Luckily, thanks to your generosity and that of our other members, we have the ability to move into a new, larger space - which is important since we're not done growing!
And if you're in the area you can come visit us at 3844 Adams Ave - but you might want to wait until August when we're done rearranging the furniture!

| June Gerson Basics Workshop |

Another successful Gerson Basics Workshop was held in San Diego the weekend of June 3-5.
Twenty different states were represented, as well as Switzerland, the Philippines, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Canada, New Zealand, and China. The participants were knowledgeable, enthusiastic, prepared with great questions, and eager to engage in hands-on demonstrations.
The seasonal San Diego marine layer known as "June Gloom" decided to step aside for the weekend, providing beautiful weather for al fresco buffets of Gerson Therapy-approved meals.

Over half the participants expressed interest in continuing on with the Gerson Home Set-up Trainer program. We look forward to keeping in touch with such wonderful new friends!

Do You Need Help Starting the Gerson Therapy at Home?
A Gerson Home Set-up Trainer Can:
- Help you set up your home to be ready to do the Therapy
- Help you prepare Gerson meals and juices
- Help you order Gerson supplements and food
- Give you some time off from preparing the food and juice for the Gerson Therapy
Most people need to follow the Gerson Therapy for a minimum of two years. The daily preparation of three meals and up to 13 juices made from approximately 20 pounds of organic vegetables and fruit is very labor intensive. Making the transition from one's "normal" life to life on the Gerson Therapy can be daunting, and there is a lot to learn. | Wellness Warrior Update |
 You may have read the fantastic blog Wellness Warrior by our favorite writer Jess Ainscough. Jess is currently 15 months into the Gerson Therapy for epithelioid sarcoma, and blogs about her experiences on the Therapy. Last month, the Ainscough family was dealt a heavy blow when her mother was also diagnosed with breast cancer. Naturally, she immediately embarked upon the Gerson Therapy herself, so now both Ainscough ladies are following the full Therapy for cancer.
As we all know, the Gerson Therapy is truly a full-time job, and the costs of organic produce and supplements can be quite a financial strain for one person, let alone two! So, many of her loyal and supportive readers suggested that she add a "chip-in box" to her blog to help her family raise funds online to assist with the costs of the Gerson Therapy.

I saw The Beautiful Truth on Netflix Instant Watch... I started buying only organic produce for the first time in my life... I went ahead and ordered your book Healing The Gerson Way, Defeating Cancer and Other Chronic Diseases. After reading it I was intellectually convinced that the Gerson Therapy is truth. I immediately went into action, despite being sick and weak, to do whatever I could to get to the point of following the Therapy as prescribed.
Now, twelve weeks into the treatment, I am a new person. My life has been given back to me. I can only say that I was definitely on my way to death in my previous condition. I was in pain, stuck on bed rest for 22 out of 24 hours a day due to uncontrolled muscle spasms and pain. .. I was able to wean off a very long list of medications, and get pain controlled. I will keep going until I am healed, and I know I am changed for life.
