Doctors from Around the World Visit San Diego to Learn the Gerson Therapy
Our Module I, week-long practitioner training workshop was an over-the-top success, helping to further strengthen our foundation for future medical services growth. 24 licensed health professionals (pictured above) -- 11 from 7 different countries and 13 from the U.S., representing 9 different states -- attended this year's training seminar. Charlotte received a standing ovation upon entering the room for the first presentation, setting the tone of passion and intense interest from this outstanding group. The two Gerson doctors from the clinic in Mexico were very much appreciated for sharing their knowledge and experience for a full day. "Our staff did a tremendous job," said Anita Wilson, Executive Director. "Carol and Blanca had the full attention and interest when presenting the non-medical aspects of the therapy. Our guest dentist Dr. Kennedy, "the Rock Star of the anti-fluoride movement," kept them enthralled into the lunch break on the final day. Diane Ake met with Lisa Layfield, an accupuncturist attending from the UK, who is interested in conducting Gerson research. Time Honored Formulas, a new high-quality supplement company, donated a small sample of Gerson supplies to each attendee. The group experienced one day on the modified therapy, with juices and coffee. Most of them visited the clinic in Mexico on the last day. Everyone enjoyed a live performance from an exceptionally talented mariachi band. Our volunteer, Janell Escalera, plays in the band and made this possible. One participant said coming to the training reconnected him to the true purpose of having been educated in the healing profession. Charlotte Gerson will once again be speaking at the 13th annual Health & Healing Crusade - Lodi Grape Festival, June 17-19. This yearly event is put on by the non-profit Christ-Centered Health Ministry- Modern Manna. Charlotte Gerson, Cherie Calbom, and Danny Vierra will be the special guest speakers. Admission and camping for this event is free of charge, and there will be $7 vegan meals prepared by Brian Igarta and Crystal DuBoyce of the Maui Vegetarian. Charlotte will be giving a speech on "Defeating Incurable Conditions" Saturday night and then a speech on "Better Nutrition for the Best of Health" on Sunday morning. My name is Marti Herndon and I just received a wonderful thank you letter today from the Gerson Institute regarding a workplace donation that I made a while back. It was in memory of my grandfather, Rex Eyre, who I have learned was the first person to be treated at a Gerson certified center in Mexico in 1976. He was diagnosed with stage 4 Leukemia, given months to live, and then was cured through the Gerson Therapy. He spent the next 25 years of his life telling anyone that would listen about the benefits of the Gerson Therapy, and even wrote a book--I Fought Leukemia and Won, Rex B. Eyre (Hawkes Publishing, Salt Lake City, 1982). I just want to say "Thank You" to Charlotte Gerson and everyone at the Gerson Clinic for giving me an extra 25 years with my Grandpa.
