Gerson® Basics/Caregiver Workshop
LOCATION: San Diego, California
We are very excited to report a large increase in growth and interest for our upcoming Gerson® Basics/Caregiver Workshop (formerly known as the Caregiver and Gerson Therapy Basics Training) June 26 - 28. Usually a maximum of 25 people register but this time we have almost 50 who have expressed interest in coming to the class! This class is full but we hope to have an even larger attendance at the next class in the fall, probably in October. We welcome you to sign up early for the fall class. | Recipe of the Month |
The Gerson Therapy includes two types of juices - Carrot/Apple and Green Juice. The following is a recipe for the Green Juice.
Romaine Lettuce
Swiss chard
Beet Tops (young inner leaves)
Watercress
Red Cabbage (2-3 leaves)
Green Pepper (1/4 of small one)
Endive
Escarole
Add one medium apple for each glass when grinding. If some of the above items are not available, do not use substitutes, such as spinach or celery. Grind the materials to a pulp and place in a cloth for pressing. This juice must be drunk immediately since its enzymes die quickly.

No-one interested in the principles of a naturopathic and "bio-logical" therapy for the treatment of cancer and other degenerative diseases can ignore the discoveries of Dr.Max Gerson.
Beata Bishop, who will talk about Dr.Gerson's huge achievement, can do so with the authority of personal experience: she recovered from Stage IV. metastasized malignant melanoma on the Gerson therapy 26 years ago and has enjoyed perfect health ever since. She is a co-founder of the British Gerson Support Group and in 1989 introduced the Gerson method in Hungary, where a successful Gerson Health Centre is now operating near Budapest. She is the co-author of Healing the Gerson Way and author of A Time to Heal.
As a physician Dr.Wolfgang Gerz has been involved for several years with the Gerson therapy and other "bio-logical" healing modalities; he published the German edition of Dr.Gerson's biography and a new edition of his most important book, A Cancer Therapy: Results of Fifty Cases.

| Spanish Publisher Needed |
Healing the Gerson Way has been translated into Spanish. Charlotte Gerson needs a publisher who is willing to take on the task of ensuring that the Spanish is readable and relatively universal. There are many Spanish-speaking communities in the world, and she wants to make it accessible to all. Then she needs the publisher to design the book, get it typeset, have it printed and do the publicity, distribution, advertising, articles and reviews in publications, and TV and radio interviews.

We welcome your ideas on how to promote the Gerson Therapy. Here's a suggestion from a reader in England:
For those of you who have read Healing the Gerson Way (or other Gerson Therapy materials), you can submit feedback and ratings on Amazon.com as a way of further promoting the Gerson Therapy.
Even if there is already review feedback there, more reviews do count. A book with a 5-star rating and say feedback from 100 reviewers probably says more than a book with 4 stars and feedback from say 30 reviewers. If someone who has never heard of Gerson Therapy before sees from the amount and level of the feedback that it seems to be a popular book, it is more likely to encourage them to look further and buy it.
Can I also suggest that anyone interested in promoting The Gerson Therapy (and of course who has read the book), considers helping out the UK by contributing some useful feedback on amazon.co.uk? The amazon.co.uk website only has one reviewer for Healing the Gerson Way. We need some more positive feedback on the UK amazon site. You do not need to be based in the UK, or to have bought the book from the UK website, to be able to submit valid feedback.
