Keeping production here in the USA provides many benefits including:
- Extra assurance of quality.
- More jobs in the USA.
- Quicker turn around time for production.
- Added flexibility on what colors and styles to offer as things can be made in smaller batches.
Rachel Nixon is the mom behind USA made Pinkies & Piggies Personalized Glass Keepsakes. She says, "I feel so blessed to be able to live in the USA and to manufacture Pinkies & Piggies glass keepsakes right from my home studio in Ohio. It's an added blessing to be able to stay at home with my two children while working on my business at the same time. I'm proud to be a mom, a business owner, and an American!"
Jill Shank is the mom behind USA made Lil'Dressers Drawer Labels for Kids. She says, "My first choice is always to find USA manufacturers, especially now when our economy needs a boost. Behind the company names are people just like you and me devoting their time and energy to create great products. The American economy is one of the greatest engines in the world. It's driven by the teamwork between innovators and the manufacturers who turn our ideas into tangible products. We're proud to be made in the USA!"
Andria M. Sgro is the mom behind USA made Belmama & Cherub products. She says, "Admittedly, the cost of doing business here in the States is higher, and my profit margin slimmer. But the end result is without-a-doubt worth it. Our fabric is gorgeous. I know that fair and humane practices are in place at all points along my supply chain. And, the quality with which the Shower Hugs are cut and sewn is incomparable. That said, I still need to successfully run a small business. My struggle will be to improve margins. Is the struggle worth it? You bet!" |
