Libertarian Party of Indiana Creates Outlet To Examine Indiana Legislation

While many sources and outlets exist to update the average American on legislation moving through Congress, it can be more difficult to find opinions on bills moving through the Indiana General Assembly.

In the past, the Libertarian Party of Indiana has written the LPIN Legislative Center blog. We wanted to evolve this service in to something more interactive. We have created a facebook group titled the Libertarian Legislative Think Tank - Indiana. View and join in here.

This group is designed to examine legislation being considered by the Indiana General Assembly. Members examine Senate and House bills, and give a libertarian perspective for use by liberty movement leaders in encouraging activism and and education. We will also take these ideas and create written articles for LPIN.org and news outlets.

Libertarian Party of Indiana Creating College Outreach Kits

In 2011, the Libertarian Party of Indiana will be sending college outreach kits to students at Hoosier universities and colleges to help spread the libertarian messages. Items like movie sized posters, magnets, sign up sheets, and stickers will be provided free to students. We're also building a website to help connect students.

But printing and postage are not free! We need to raise money to ensure that this project gets off the ground. By making a monthly donation or one-time donation to help us build this program, you will help to connect and grow the libertarian movement in the next generation. You will also help identify the leaders of the 21st Century within the Libertarian Party.

Please use our secure payment form below to donate $500, $100, $50, $20, or any amount you wish to contribute to this project. Thank you for building a libertarian century.

"
But there is something that I must say to my people, who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice: In the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again, we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force."

ABOUT THE LIBERTARIAN PARTY
The Libertarian Party is America, and Indiana's, third largest political party founded in 1971 as an alternative to the two main political parties. Its vision is for a world in which all individuals can freely exercise the natural right of sole dominion over their own lives, liberty and property by building a political party that elects Libertarians to public office, and moving public policy in a libertarian direction.

The Libertarian Party of Indiana was formed in 1974, and has maintained ballot access since 1994. Sam Goldstein, an Indianapolis resident, currently serves as Chairman.
