Libertarian Solutions for Indiana and the Nation
The Libertarian Party of Indiana is committed to showing voters that Libertarianism is not an abstract ideal. It is a workable philosophy for modern politics. Several months ago, our staff put together two documents for our candidates to identify problems and solutions in not only Indiana politics, but national politics as well. We are releasing it now to help our supporters find quick and accurate facts while they persuade friends and neighbors during this campaign season.

Former CD 5 Republican Primary Candidate Endorses Libertarian Reid
A former Republican Congressional Candidate for the Indiana Fifth Congressional district has endorsed Libertarian candidate Chard Reid over the Republican in that race. Andy Lyons, a tea party favorite in the May primary, gave his nod of support on his facebook page.
"I would like to add my support for Chard!" said Lyons. "I had the pleasure to listen to him speak. I am asking all of those who voted for me in the primary to do so for Chard. He truly wants a simplified government that is run constitutionally! Please let everyone know! It is time for Burton to go! God Bless."

Help Continue the Great Work of Libertarians around the State
Spreading the message of the Libertarian Party takes significant resources, and we are in crunch time! LPIN candidates have never canvassed this many houses, appeared in as many news reports, attended as many civic functions, handed out this many materials, or spent this much money in the 30 years of our existence. This will mean greater results for our candidates, and we need your financial support to continue these efforts through this Election Day and beyond.
Please support the Libertarian Party of Indiana with a gift of $25, $50, or $100.
With $100, we can buy 5,000 brochures to hand out in neighborhoods. We can buy 12 radio spots in most media markets. We can continue the efforts in creating resources and new opportunities through our staff. We have the volunteers to hand them out, and we have the contracts ready to sign, but we need your support to make it happen.

Take Election Day Off Work!
What is the best way to volunteer for Libertarian Party candidates this fall? Take Election Day off work, and stand outside of your polling place. Then contact Chris Spangle via email with your address. We will connect you with local campaigns that will have materials for you pass out to your neighbors as you ask for their vote. Email Chris Spangle at lpinhq@lpin.org if you are volunteering in your home precinct.

ABOUT THE LIBERTARIAN PARTY
The Libertarian Party is America, and Indiana's, third largest political
party founded in 1971 as an alternative to the two main political
parties. Its vision is for a world in which all individuals can freely
exercise the natural right of sole dominion over their own lives,
liberty and property by building a political party that elects
Libertarians to public office, and moving public policy in a libertarian
direction.
The Libertarian Party of Indiana was formed in 1974, and has maintained
ballot access since 1994. Sam Goldstein, an Indianapolis resident,
currently serves as Chairman. Learn what we stand for here. |
