New LPIN Website Set to Launch in Early February:
Contributors Wanted
|
A team of web developers met in early December
to begin working on a new magazine-style design for LPIN.org. The new
LPIN website will launch with a fresh new look for the online home of
the Libertarian Party of Indiana with many new features to help inform
those interested in libertarianism. A wide array of new resources will
be available to assist grassroots libertarians in their efforts to
organize their local communities. The new site will also provide the
LPIN.org website visitors with new, original web video content. It will
also seek to serve as the main online starting point for Hoosier
citizens looking to discover other Indiana libertarian bloggers.
The LPIN is seeking contributors to the new LPIN website.
New Hoosier bloggers are needed to write about local, state, and
federal issues from the libertarian perspective.
Current Libertarian bloggers are encouraged to not only post on
their sites, but LPIN.org as well.
Podcasters are also needed to launch a couple new libertarian
podcasts.
Video podcasters are also needed to help develop new libertarian
video podcasts.
Social networkers are also needed to help grow the LPIN online
communities.
Editors are also needed to help guide and manage content on the
website.
Those interested should contact Executive Director Chris Spangle at lpinhq@lpin.org with examples of
work. The new website platform will be run with wordpress.org.
LPIN Reaches out to Hundreds at Indy 1500 Gun and Knife Show
| The Libertarian Party staffed a large booth at the Indy 1500 Gun and Knife Show. Thousands attend the state's largest gun show four times a year, and hundreds stopped by the LPIN booth to hear more about the party. Over 200 took the World's Smallest Political Quiz, and left their information to help volunteer in 2010. The world record for most quizzes taken at an event is a little over 400. The LPIN intends to break this record at the March Indy 1500 Gun and Knife Show.
