Spotlight on: Mental Health Month
CrisisLink celebrates Mental Health Month by raising awareness & funds, and educating people in our community.
May is Mental Health Month! About 1 in 4
adults suffer from a
diagnosable mental disorder in a given year. All this month we will highlight the mental wellness resources available to you and your family.
See below or on our website for a list of upcoming events.

Mental Health Month Fundraising Challenge It costs approximately $1.6 million to provide around-the-clock crisis & suicide prevention, intervention, and response services to the region each year. That is an average of $4,394 a day.
We're here 24/7 providing services and resources that promote mental wellness. Join our challenge and help us raise a modest $5,000 by May 31st. That's just one hundred donations of $50 or more.
This $5,000 will expand CrisisLink's services by helping us:
- Launch Spanish-language hotline service
-
Handle the 50,000+ calls we'll receive from people in crisis this year
-
Upgrade our phone system
-
Continue to provide 24/7 support to the entire community
Take these 3 easy steps to help us engage the community in the challenge!
- Raise $50 or more by creating a personal fundraising page at firstgiving.com/crisislink;
- Attend one or more of our exciting events;
- Fan us on Facebook and spread the word to your friends!
A special prize will be given to the top fundraiser listed on CrisisLink's firstgiving page. The winner will be announced on our blog on June 1st.
