Greetings!

CrisisLink is able to save lives and prevent tragedies because of the generous support of our community. Thank you! You've let us do more this year than ever before. Our fiscal year 2009 closed in June with suicide calls up almost 80% and calls from youth up 68% over 2008.

Please help us start this new fiscal year on the right track by making a tax-deductible contribution to our summer appeal. Together, we can help save lives and prevent tragedies.

 Spotlight on: CrisisLink 2-1-1 Partnerships

LinkUp & Listen Logo 2-1-1 is an important collaboration between nonprofits, government agencies, and the private sector to help those in our community in need of support get connected to the services they need before their situations reach the crisis stage. 2-1-1 is the starting point for people in our region seeking assistance.

In this tough economy, people who have never sought assistance before are unexpectedly finding themselves needing help. By dialing 2-1-1, anyone can quickly and easily find the services that they need to help them get back on their feet.

Simply dial 2-1-1 to access the resources you need.

CrisisLink's 2-1-1 Partnership Program
CrisisLink seeks to improve access to community health and human services by establishing formal partnerships with government, nonprofit, and faith-based organizations. CrisisLink's Northern Virginia 2-1-1 Partners will be promoted on CrisisLink's web site and will receive special communications and invitations to events addressing our sector's needs. The partnerships also ensure that CrisisLink's 2-1-1 community resource specialists have the latest information on available resources so that we can connect people in need to the services that can help.
