Volunteers Raise Nearly $2,000 Wrapping Presents
Funds will support CrisisLink's programs for the region.

For four days last month, CrisisLink volunteers wrapped presents for charity at L.L. Bean's Tysons Corner location, raising close to $2,000 to support CrisisLink's programs.

Special thanks are owed to L.L. Bean for providing the wrapping materials and for their $500 contribution to CrisisLink, as well as to CrisisLink Board Member Suzanne Wheeler Klein for organizing the project and to the many volunteers who wrapped gifts and helped make the project a success.

Thank you!

Arlington Public Health Division Seeks Your Opinion
Arlington residents encouraged to share ideas on how to make community healthier.

Wanted: Your Opinion! Arlington County is joining with local businesses, community groups, and government agencies to conduct a survey to identify where people who live, work, and play in Arlington believe the local public health system should focus its efforts over the next 10 years. The survey is part of a process called MAPP (Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships). Measuring perceptions of the quality of life and health in Arlington will provide valuable information in the planning process.

Visit http://www.arlingtonva.us/mapp for a copy of the survey and details.

CrisisLink Executive Director Carol Loftur-Thun and Jamie Carter, CrisisLink's Northern Virginia 2-1-1 Call Center Director, are members of the MAPP Steering Committee and the Action Cycle Sub-Committee.
