What do I love about Spring in Delaware? It's all the colors and shades of green as the trees and shrubs bud and bloom. This is what I would miss if I lived somewhere without the changing seasons.

Delaware is an Agricultural State and we have some of the best Farmers Markets anywhere. The first Markets open beginning with the Historic Milton Farmers Market. The official Grand Opening is Friday, April 27th, but there was a soft opening on Friday, April 20th and I found fresh asparagus, fresh cut flowers and lavender from our local Lavender Fields. Please notice the new feature beginning with this month's newsletter featuring a coupon from a local business. The coupon all the way down at the bottom is from Behind Closed Doors, a company I just learned about the other day from a very satisfied client. Then I met several other people for whom they have done work. The comment was that they are priced well below California Closets but the quality is superb!

Kathy Sperl-BellLast year I read an article by Gayle Guynup, Editor of Style Magazine, entitled  Places I have called home and put it in my file for future reading. Sometimes I feel like I have lived everywhere. Lately our Buyer Clients are coming from so many different states, I'm having a lot of fun talking about all the places we have in common.

Started thinking about that country song "I've been everywhere Man" - it's a great way to travel through all the places I've lived, so, here I go -

At last week's Brokers Quarterly meeting the tone was very upbeat. Several had to leave the meeting early to go attend Settlements; that is always a good sign. I always like to remind my clients that all Real Estate is local, but the market is improving on a national level this Spring.

What did Forbes say?
