Balance-sailing

All along the coast, in the Delaware  Bay, the Atlantic Ocean, Rehoboth Bay and into the Indian River, the waters are alive with sailboats, jet skis, standup paddle boards and more. I took this photo with my Blackberry while Bill took over the paddling in our tandem kayak. That's the great thing about living in Coastal Delaware. Even though we are still working 24/7 it seems, we can always find time to kayak or take a bike ride or a brisk walk in Cape Henlopen State Park. From the bay to the rivers and lakes throughout the area, it's a huge reason active adults are flocking to  Coastal Delaware!

The weather was perfect and the beaches were crowded. A great time was had by all. We were booked with clients, showing property half of the time and with the rest we participated in the holiday activities and had a great time. Got on my bike with my camera in hand and thought I would share some of the holiday festivities with you. If you missed it this year maybe this video will entice you to join us July 4, 2012! Hancock model at Indie
Understanding Base Model pricing

Wow, look at that model with the gourmet kitchen, the hardwood floors, the luxury owner's bath and that outdoor kitchen! That's the house I want ... but that costs what?

Why do the builders put $100,000 of options and upgrades into their model homes? If they built a base model home and just let it speak for itself, then you would know what is really included, right? But would you be enticed to buy a home in that community?

In The News...

The Active Adults Delaware Team has joined forces with Delaware Realty in the heart of Lewes, Delaware. Our focus is Delaware and the active adults who live here or plan to live here as soon as they can. We had been with this office and this broker when it was the RE/MAX Realty Group in Lewes until last July when it became Delaware Realty. After one year, it was time to go back. "All real estate is local" and we know the Delaware market and why it is so attractive to the 78 Million Baby Boomers that are planning to retire here (or at least a few thousand of them!).
